WHOLE WHEAT PIZZA CRUST
- 1 tbsp. dry yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. soy flour (or all-purpose if you don't have soy)
- 1 tsp. honey
- Soften yeast in the cup of warm water. Let stand 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, add the rest of the ingredients to a medium sized bowl. Mix in the yeast/water mixture.
- Knead 10 minutes (tiring, but the better you knead, the better the rise!). If you've never done this before, just add a bit of extra flour every time it starts to get sticky.
- Let rise 1 hour (if you forget about it for a few hours, its okay! it'll just be bigger).
- Divide into 2 balls. Flatten each on a round pizza/baking pan.
- Bake 4-5 minutes at 350 F.
- Use immediately or store in the freezer for later.
